When should I reserve?

Reservations can be made a few days in advance or even on the day of the activity.

How should we be dressed?

Dress according to the weather. Hiking shoes are required.

Are the dogs friendly?

Yes, all our dogs are friendly.

Can I bring treats for the dogs?

No but there will be treats available to purchase onsite.

Can I bring my dog?

No, they are dog pack and are not used to being in contact with other dogs/animals.

Can anyone do this activity?

Yes, so long as you meet the minimum age requirement.

With your dog attached to your waist by a joring harness, you will be snowshoeing through the snow as your dog leads the way, propelling you forward and giving you the motivation to go faster. No experience necessary but it is required that participants be in good physical shape. Perfect for dog lovers who want to try something new! For families with teens who are 13 years old and older.

  • No domestic dogs allowed on site.

    • Additional information :

  • Our base is 45 minutes from Tremblant resort. Approximately a 2h30 drive from Montreal and Ottawa.
  • We recommend renting a car in Montreal if you are coming to visit the Mont-Tremblant area and want to get around easily. We are in a rural area so taxis/rideshare can be limited in high season.
  • Duration - Sled dog hiking: Approximately 1 hour.
  • Snowshoe joring requires some physical exertion.
  • The harnesses will be set-up by our guides.
  • For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
